Fria LLC (“Fria,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Stepify mobile application (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service. By using Stepify, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, and password. You may optionally provide a profile photo.

User-Generated Content

We collect the goals, step descriptions, notes, and other content you create within the Service. This content is transmitted to our AI providers to generate step breakdowns on your behalf.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including features used, steps completed, session duration, and in-app actions. This data helps us understand how the Service is being used and how to improve it.

Device Information

We collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and IP address.

Subscription & Payment Information

When you purchase a subscription or make an in-app purchase, payment is processed by Apple through your Apple ID account. We do not collect or store your credit card number or payment method details. We receive transaction-level information from Apple and our subscription management provider (RevenueCat), including your subscription plan, purchase date, expiration date, renewal status, and transaction identifiers. This information is used solely to manage your premium access and provide customer support.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Generate AI-powered step breakdowns based on the goals you submit.
• Personalize your experience and remember your preferences.
• Send you transactional communications such as account verification emails and important service updates.
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service's features and performance.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights and freedoms, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with carefully selected third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service. These include:

• AI providers — to generate goal step breakdowns. Your goal content is transmitted to these providers solely to generate responses on your behalf.
• Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting, storage, and database services.
• Analytics providers — to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service.
• Subscription management (RevenueCat) — to manage in-app subscriptions, verify purchase entitlements, and process subscription events.
• App store platforms (Apple App Store) — for app distribution and in-app purchase processing.

All third-party providers are contractually obligated to handle your data only as directed by us and in compliance with applicable privacy laws. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion — request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions.

8. Cookies & Tracking

Our mobile application does not use cookies. We may use mobile analytics SDKs and device identifiers to understand app usage and performance. You can limit ad tracking through your device's operating system settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you a notification within the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
